My part of the project
I have been working on including more text into my artwork. For this one, I designed the typographic component on InDesign and then worked with the layout to create the pattern of the illustration. The text looks like it is floating inside the branches, just like the face picking the best cherries (up top). I can imagine this one as a cherry cider label actually.
With Cherry on Top, I would like to invite you to think about something nice that happened this week – like picking some fruit with your sister. This artwork was based on a fond memory and it reminds me not to keep focusing on all the challenges surrounding us at the moment.
