The Duke of Wellington, Glasgow
What I did: Illustration / Idea generation / research
My part of the project
The Duke of Wellington, a famous Glasgow landmark known for the traffic cone on his head, in the middle of a snowstorm. The artwork is inspired by French Impressionism and Fauvism giving it a vibrant colour palette and playful mark-making. I captured this moment a few weeks ago while I was working on a mural in Glasgow’s city centre. I really liked the shadow cast by the Duke of Wellington statue.
