Plastic & waste activism poster

What I did: Illustration / Idea generation / research / art direction

About the project

I have two feelings about the ocean. Firstly, I feel small and humbled by its vastness and beauty and secondly, I feel a sense of guilt about the plastic junk it is holding and the impact it is having on sea life. For these illustrations, I thought about things within my everyday life which end up in the sea as well as junk from industry junk, fishing nets and microplastics.

This artwork was created for Adapt and Act, a local Glasgow community project which hopes to increase the awareness of global warming and pollution.
