What I did: Visiting the West of Scotland for inspiration, designing and painting 8 Scottish landscapes & painting delivery
What the client needed
The West of Scotland PET Centre at Gartnavel General Hospital in Glasgow wanted eight 50cm x 40cm artworks to brighten up small rooms in which patients await their PET scans. The artwork needed to be friendly, calming and with a nature theme.
The artworks were inspired by my walks around the west of Scotland and are inspired by the beautiful landscapes around the Isle of Bute, Loch Lomond and Tighnabruaich. Acrylic on wood.
As the artworks are in a staff and patients only section of the hospital, I don’t have any pictures of them in locations.
